The last time I wrote in this blog was January 2, 2011. Great job, Linda with keeping up. Well this is another year. Things that are upcoming? Jasmine will turn 14 this year and start high school in the fall. Brian will retire in July. He is taking vacation days in July so he will actually be finished at the end of June. We are planning a trip to Jason and Kristen's so that Brian can help Jason finished the addition. I guess I am planning to continue working. What would I do otherwise???
My main plan for this year is survival of Jasmine's teenage years. I really want and need to keep up with my blogging. I've forced myself to keep up with Facebook
To recap the year. My brother Edd has moved out here. It has been a challenging decision for him but I think he is glad to be here. I'm really glad he is here. Also, I really like my new job at Community Prep Charter School as Curriculum and Instruction facilitator. I've met some great new people. Jas is back at Pikes Peak Christian and doing well. She's been playing basketball and wants to do track.
Brian's job continues to be a challenge and he is definitely ready to retire. We lost Brian's Uncle Jack to cancer and heart condition. I lost a cousin that I haven't seen since college to cancer.
I've gotten into card making and love it. I've neglected my rug hooking and knitting which I need to get back into. I've been playing Assassin's Creed Revelations and loving it. I got the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and am enjoying it. So much I like to do and so little time. Happy New Year, everyone. Hopefully this time I can keep blogging.
