Boy am I behind

Or ahead, depending on how you look at it. I started a new job in August which is only suppose to be half time. Well, because it is a new job the learning curve is quite challenging so I'm putting in more hours that I should. However, it is getting better. (But don't ask Brian his opinion on the subject. : ) )

Jasmine also started a new school. This was definitely a challenge. The curriculum was extremely rigorous even for a 6th grader with two hours of homework each night. She would stay up until 9:30 some nights because of soccer or church and then have to get up at 6 to be at school by 7:30 and it wasn't close by. Needless to say, we decided, after much prayer and discussion that she could go back to her home school where there is an excellent curriculum but they are not expecting everyone to go to Harvard. I was having to relearn Latin, indirect objects, transition verbs, etc. and then try to teach it to her. She hadn't even learned this in English yet. She seems much happier which is a good thing and it's much easier on me.

I have been inundated with school classes to renew my certifications, and training to prepare for this job. So needless to say things have been really busy.

This week we had something every night. Monday's I have class until 7 pm. I'm taking a class called Reality Spanish. It is very interactive so that what we are learning sticks with us. Tuesday we had the end of the year soccer party at our house with 12 girls, parents, etc. It was fun but I'm glad soccer has come to an end. It definitely frees up more time.

Wednesday we got to go see Trans Siberian Orchestra at the World Arena. What an incredible show. It was Brian's first concert, so he's arrived. We left feeling a little deaf but had a great time.

Thursday night I went to the launching of Janelle's Arbonne debut. We had a good time and I was able to get some Christmas shopping done. Guess what everyone is getting this year? LOL

Friday night we had a Wedding to go to. We had lots of fun. Brian was not able to get off to go with us so we weren't able to enjoy the dancing but still had fun. (He had two fires yesterday, so he was very busy!)

This morning I awoke at 5 to Karli having diarrhea and throwing up on my just cleaned carpet. I was not a happy camper.

Today, I get my new chair which is finally finished and tonight we have coffee bar. So the reason you haven't heard from me is because I'm really, really, really busy.

After last week's snow storm this week has been gorgeous with lots of sunshine and in the 60's and 70's. 75 yesterday. I haven't been keeping up with anyone's blog but I'll try to do a better job. If I didn't have a cell phone with internet, I wouldn't even be keeping up with my email. Have a great day!
