Much has happened since I last wrote. We made it to the Kirk family reunion and had a great time. The accommodations were less than stellar and way too expensive. Ugh! It was great to see the family. The heat index was 101. Hot, hot, hot.
I am starting a new job this fall at the old school where I taught when I retired. I'm really excited. It is a new position and I won't be teaching, I'll be writing the program, so I can create lots of fun things for students.
Today we went shopping for the coffee bar and then went to help Jasmine's new school put together their new furniture. Good thing Brian was there to help but I did pretty well following diagrams, if I do say so myself.
Jasmine has her first new job!!! She's going to be babysitting for a family. The little boy is sooo cute. He is two and calls her Jasmean. She will be getting paid $7 an hour. Not too bad for a first job. She made $10.50 today. This woman teaches at UCCS and needs some time to do projects and curriculum, so Jasmine entertains Danny for her so she can.
I was able to get a massage at 4pm and then we ended the day eating at Red, Hot and Blue one of my favorite places. Yum, yum!
