I'm amazed at the bureaucracy even in a store!

I just spent 2 hours in Sears buying a washer and dryer. The poor guy went to ring up my sale and forgot something and tried to void out the sale and start again and the bureaucracy begins. It ended up charging my credit card twice and the credit guy couldn't understand what happened even after having it explained to him several times and wasn't having any of it. He asked if I had charged something else while I was in the store. I told him I'd been in the same spot for the past hour. Help! We finally got it straightened out. It took 3 people, including the manager to straighten it out. I was ready to scream when I left because I had kept my cool for so long. I hope God realizes I just earned a great reward of patience.
